Production Specialist / Web Designer

Are you eager to kick-start your web career at an online agency? We are looking for a passionate and up-beat Production Specialist / Web Designer with experience in online marketing design and html/css integration. We need someone who can complement our team and is interested in working on exciting projects in the field of luxury e-commerce and brand marketing, including: micro-sites, interactive landing pages, banner-ad creation, email newsletters, and social media campaigns encompassing facebook, twitter, google+ and more.

Your tasks will include:

• Working with senior designers and taking existing design comps and creating variations on a theme
• Graphic production such as image retouching, resizing and optimizing for web
• Managing small projects
• Keeping our clients happy!

Our Expectations

We're looking for someone fun! But seriously, you should have the following:

• Strong Photoshop chops
• Strong HTML / CSS chops
• Ability to turn design comps into clickable html/css web pages
• Comfortable speaking directly with clients (as in on the phone) for small/quick deliverables
• A problem solving disposition that doesn't mind having a lot of projects running in parallel
• An innate drive to find ways around obstacles and a love of getting things done
• A natural curiosity about online trends, and not just in marketing
• A passion for the web and connecting with people online
• Willingness to work on-site in our Montreal office downtown
• Fluency in English with excellent writing skills

Pluses:

• Experience with mobile web development
• Working knowledge of jquery
• Fluency in Spanish
