Interactive Web Developer

Do you have experience working on high-traffic, high-profile web sites and marketing campaigns? Know a thing or two about segmented email marketing and A/B optimization of landing pages? Does working with affiliates such as Esquire and Vogue sound intriguing? How about the idea of helping to grow a small, successful agency where you can have a real impact? We are looking to add a passionate and up-beat developer to our team. We need someone who clicks with our crew and is interested in working on exciting projects in the field of luxury e-commerce and brand marketing, including: micro-sites, interactive landing pages, banner-ad creation, email newsletters, and social media campaigns encompassing facebook, twitter, google+ and more.

Your tasks will include:

• Bringing design comps to life, ready for prime-time (e.g. multi-million dollar e-commerce campaigns)
• Working closely with fellow team-mates and clients to come up with innovative, interactive campaigns that convert
• Translating project requirements into implementation roadmaps / next action steps
• Keeping our clients happy!

Our Expectations

We're looking for someone fun! But seriously, you should have the following:

Skillset

• Strong html/css chops —including graceful fallback for older browsers
• Strong jquery chops — for interactivity, not just eye-candy
• Decent php chops
• Decent sql chops
• Experience using svn
• Experience integrating with 3rd party web services and APIs
• Production level Photoshop skills (such as slicing and dicing)
• Proven track-record of delivering projects on time and keeping clients (and coworkers!) happy
• Fluency in English with excellent writing skills

Mindset

• A passion for untuitive UI / UX with a keen awareness of balanced typgraphy and layout
• A fast and nimble development style, with a willingness to adapt to requirements that (occasionally) shift mid-stream
• A problem solving disposition that doesn't mind having upwards of 10 small to mid-size projects running in parallel
• An innate drive to find ways around obstacles and a love of getting things done
• A natural curiosity about online trends, and not just in technology
• A passion for the web and connecting with people online
• Willingness to work on-site in our Montreal office downtown

• Proficiency in Spanish and/or French
